Chris Aguilar began shooting on film cameras early in his childhood. His life changed when he picked up a video camera and found that he could combine his love of stories with his love of visual media. Since then, Fin Films is one of the most recognized names in the small niche of paddle sports making event videos and films.

From Chris:

Along the way, I have been fortunate to meet and work with people in the surfing world I looked up for most of my life. One of the biggest moments of my life was being asked to present at NAB for Panasonic Cinema and being able to do a series of events with them talking about the use of their gear in ocean conditions.

My goal with Fin Films is to constantly engage our audiences to tell stories they can all relate to and be inspired by. We always focus first on connecting with the audience. We have no templates in how we shoot and edit. Its all organic and driven by the energy of the event, the people and experience.

I am happy to collaborate with any directors or producers and have been lucky in my career to work some amazing people (like Brent Deal to name one) on a wide range of really interesting and inspiring projects.
